Not by might, nor by power, but by the Ruach!

Ruach HaKodesh= Holy Spirit

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

The Ruach Hakodesh made Moses’s fellow leaders prophecy

 And the Lord came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease. Numbers 11:25

The Ruach Hakodesh made the wicked prophet Baalam prophecy

And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him. And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said………

. Numbers 24:2-3

The Ruach Hakodesh made Othniel a good warlord

And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the LORD delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim. Judges 15:4

Every instance of Samson’s supernatural strength was because of the Ruach Hakodesh-

And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father’s house. Judges 14:19

And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands. And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith. Judges 15:14-15

The Ruach Hakodesh made Gideon brave –

Then all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the children of the east were gathered together, and went over, and pitched in the valley of Jezreel.

But the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abiezer was gathered after him. Judges 6:33-34

The Ruach Hakodesh made Jephtah a good conqueror-

hen the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jephthah, and he passed over Gilead, and Manasseh, and passed over Mizpeh of Gilead, and from Mizpeh of Gilead he passed over unto the children of Ammon.

The Ruach Hakodesh turned Sha’ul into a new man-

And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. 1 Samuel 10:6

And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day. 1 Samuel 10:9

And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them. 1 Samuel 10:10

The Ruach Hakodesh made Sha’ul full of righteous anger, and a good warlord-, defeated thousands

Against the wicked Ammonites, and Israel defeated them by killing them all day under Saul’s Spirit-inspired leadership-

And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, and his anger was kindled greatly.- 1 Samuel 11:6

And it was so on the morrow, that Saul put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the host in the morning watch, and slew the Ammonites until the heat of the day: and it came to pass, that they which remained were scattered, so that two of them were not left together 1 Samuel 11:11

The Ruach Hakodesh came upon David, and he later kills giants and tramples armies, becomes a mighty warlord, defeated tens of thousands, also writes songs full of prophecies and spiritual insight

Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up and went to Ramah. 1 Samuel 16:13

The Ruach Hakodesh made Zechariah speak with boldness

And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the Lord, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the Lord, he hath also forsaken you. 2 Chronicles 24:20
